The older I get, the more I learn just how messed up the world is.  Corrupt government officials.  Greedy Wallstreet executives.  Companies that obsess over the bottom line instead of being fair to the employees that enable them.  The military that spends $100 for a $5 hammer because it pads someone’s pocket.  The list goes on and on!  But what do "We The People" do day after day?  Turn a blind eye!

This past April 15th, when I being forced to hand over my hard earned money to the IRS, I came across a quote that stuck in my head for long after that day.  It was from a website that had a list of tax based quotes, "The problem is, you keep thinking of it as your money!" - IRS Agent.  To me that just summed up the attitude of the people in our "government of the people, by the people, for the people"   that Abraham Lincoln spoke of.

When I posted that quote on Facebook, it got lots of "Likes" so, I decided to find an image of Uncle Sam to put with the quote.  I came across an image of Uncle Sam twisting the money out of "The People".  I liked it so much I decided that I would like to put it on a T-Shirt for all to see.  Then I decided that maybe other like minded people out there might like to put that image in front of the "Blind Eyes" out there.

So that’s the story so far.  I hope this will grow into other "Wake Up" graphics that become a catalyst that makes "We The People" say "you know, why do we put up with that".
